LEVEL 4 / POST 9 (WEEK 13): A PHOTOGRAPH YOU LIKE

Hello everyone! Today I´m writing to you about my favorite photo.

This photo was taken by my uncle Jano, on a trip he made to Freirina, Huasco in 2013. Together with my grandparents who are the ones in the picture.

My grandparents are my favorite people, I love them very much and I will always want to see them as they are in this photo, happy and enjoying themselves because that is what they deserve.

Today the situation is complicated, my grandmother is blind and has Alzheimer's and my grandfather is the one who takes care of her. I don't like to be far away, because it is difficult to help them from a distance. Although their children help as much as possible, when they are sick or need to go to their checkups I think it´s not enough, I would like the plan we have with my mom to be achieved and can be completed soon, which is to build a house with enough space to go to live together and thus provide and take care of them as it should.

Level  4 / Post 3: Movies (Best Movie / Best Director / Best Genre) The Walking Castle is a Japanese animated film created by Studio Ghibli and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.  This movie was one of the first movies I watched from Studio Ghibli and I remember watching it when I was very little at my grandparents' house. They would always show me the best movies and we would enjoy them together.  I didn't remember the name of this movie until I was 13 years old when a drawing/graphic design teacher recommended me to make a drawing of it. Level 4 / Post 5 (week 7): My future job. Hello everyone!  Today I will tell you about my future job. I'm currently studying visual arts. I decided to study this degree because it was what I liked and I don't regret the decision I made. I´m only in my third year and I have only one year left to get my degree. But what I want is to continue studying and also to apply for a teaching degree. One of my reasons for applying to pedagogy, besides expanding my career field, is to be able to teach this subject properly in schools and high schools, to make the students really enjoy being in class and not only be in it because it is an "easy subject to pass". Although the road is still long according to my point of view, I want to do it well, to understand and know all the necessary topics to be able to deliver a good teaching, I really hope to have the opportunity to be a person who can teach in the best way to others.
