LEVEL 4 / POST 6 (WEEK 8): POST GRADUATE STUDIES. Hello everyone! Today I’m going to talk to you about the post graduate studies that I am considering doing in the future. To be honest, it is important to me to be able to do a postgraduate degree, I would really like to continue studying, to do a master's degree in visual arts. Since I would like to deepen everything I have seen and will see in the degree, in order to complement what I have seen and what I have not seen, since having studied in a period of pandemic in an online mode I found it unfavorable or so I perceive it. I believe that being able to study the graduate program will make me feel more confident in my knowledge and in what I want to become in order to achieve my goals. One option that I have in mind is to study pedagogy since I also want to teach people to promote the enjoyment of the arts.   I’m interested in promoting actions that unleash the artistic potential of people.

Level 4 / Post 5 (week 7): My future job. Hello everyone!  Today I will tell you about my future job. I'm currently studying visual arts. I decided to study this degree because it was what I liked and I don't regret the decision I made. I´m only in my third year and I have only one year left to get my degree. But what I want is to continue studying and also to apply for a teaching degree. One of my reasons for applying to pedagogy, besides expanding my career field, is to be able to teach this subject properly in schools and high schools, to make the students really enjoy being in class and not only be in it because it is an "easy subject to pass". Although the road is still long according to my point of view, I want to do it well, to understand and know all the necessary topics to be able to deliver a good teaching, I really hope to have the opportunity to be a person who can teach in the best way to others. Since it is really rewarding and satisfying to see other pe...

LEVEL 4/ POST 4: CARRER  RELATED TOPIC.  Hello everyone!  Well today I will tell you how I came to study Fine Arts at the University of Chile. First of all I always liked art, I grew up with my grandparents and it was my grandmother who always surrounded me with art, she was very skillful and ingenious, she made wonderful things especially textiles. It was seeing her, the street graffiti, the diverse art of other people that inspired me and filled me with an eagerness to learn.  Although I didn't have it as a study option at the beginning. I had other options such as: psychology, pedagogy. I began to have Arts as a study option because of my high school arts teacher who encouraged and advised me. She always told me that she believed that I was capable of achieving more and I thank her for the support and encouragement she gave me until the end.  Perhaps if it had not been for her, I would be studying another university career or on a sabbatical year.

Level  4 / Post 3: Movies (Best Movie / Best Director / Best Genre) The Walking Castle is a Japanese animated film created by Studio Ghibli and directed by Hayao Miyazaki.  This movie was one of the first movies I watched from Studio Ghibli and I remember watching it when I was very little at my grandparents' house. They would always show me the best movies and we would enjoy them together.  I didn't remember the name of this movie until I was 13 years old when a drawing/graphic design teacher recommended me to make a drawing of it. It wasn't until then that I watched it again and it fascinated me just as it did when I was younger. What I always liked is what happened with the character of Sophie, who was a young girl who worked in a hat shop. She turns out to be a victim of the Witch of the Paramo who curses her and makes her look like an old woman. You can see in the movie many changes in her. At the beginning she is a very structured person who lacks a sense of adventu...
