LEVEL 4 / POST 7 (WEEK 9): THEMED / FREE POST

Hello everyone!

Today I want to talk to you about orange cats, these cats are known to be sociable, outgoing and affectionate. 4 out of 5 of the orange cats are male, in other words 80% of orange cats are male, this is due to their genetics since it is linked to the sex of the feline, it is important to emphasize that the orange cats are not a breed of cats, since there are several breeds of cats that coincide with the characteristic of orange color, the orange color of the cats is due to the pigment called "melanin" and it is the same that makes redheads to human beings, A factor in the color of their coat is the temperature, the warmer the environment the more orange their coat will look, most orange cats have the characteristic of having an "M" on their forehead, orange male cats weigh more than cats of other colors, while, on the contrary, orange females weigh less than female cats of other shades. This makes these cats more predisposed to obesity.

Orange male cats, due to their dominant status and bold personalities, are more comfortable approaching humans. Their mortality rate is higher than other cats of other colors, according to one study, because they are more prone to risky behaviors that result in their demise.
